Sheriff's Investigators say a boy sparked the fire that consumed more than 38,000 acres and destroyed 21 homes.
The "Buckweed Fire" outside Los angeles is one of the California wildfires that investigators say they have a suspect for. Three people were hurt in that blaze and 15,000 had to evacuate their homes.
Sheriff's Department Investigators say a boy confessed to sparking the fire October 21st while playing with matches. He's being treated as a juvenile and was released to his parents.
The case now goes to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office to determine if charges will be filed.
