A new study from the UK says breathing in diesel exhaust emitted from trucks and other vehicles on the road, is associated with a higher risk for heart disease in men.
The study found that when a person is exposed to relatively high levels of diesel exhaust for even a short time, the blood was more likely to clot. That, in turn, could eventually lead to a heart attack or stroke.
