Delta High School Student Arrested For Threatening Students With Knife

A Delta High School student is facing felony charges after threatening other students with a knife.

Delta Police say 16–year–old Kenneth Tyler Stanley got into a fight with another student at around 9:30 Wednesday morning. Then he went to his locker and got a three inch knife and threatened students with it. Other students alerted the assistant principal who took the knife from Stanley. Police say Stanley then ran home.

Police say the knife wasn't illegal but say they are worried that he had it at school.

The 16-year-old was arrested at his Delta home and is being held at Mesa County Youth Services on a $25,000 bond.
