The attorney for 65 year old Jesse Dale Baker wants his client's bond reduced.

He's accused of using candy to entice children and then sexually assaulting them.

Baker was in court this morning for a formal reading of charges, but the public defender wants to lower baker's 150–thousand dollar bond before moving forward with the case. He says Baker is not a flight risk, and that he has been accepted to an assisted living program in Palisade.

But according to the District Attorney's office, because of the nature of the case, the victims must be consulted before bond can be reset.
A new bond hearing is set for later this month.
