More American students are studying abroad.
According to the Institute of International Education, more than 223,000 U.S. students studied aboard during the 2005 – 2006 school year. That's up 8.5% from the year before. And up over 150% over the past 10 years.
While the UK hosts the most American students, Asian countries are seeing the biggest increase of American students.
