Nobel Peace Prize Winner Lectures in Grand Junction

A Nobel Peace Prize winner is in Grand Junction this afternoon lecturing at Mesa State College.

Elisabeth A. Holland is a recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize along with former United States Vice President Al Gore. She is the lead author of The Forth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Holland is a senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder. She was at Mesa State earlier today presenting on the world's changing climate and the underlying role of Biogeochemistry.
