Grand Junction Police Officers use GPS tracking to find a man they say held a woman at knifepoint.
They eventually caught him at the Racket Club Apartments on Orchard Avenue. It all started with a fight in the 300-block of Pitkin Avenue.
Police tell us 24–year old Adam Burke kicked in the door and assaulted someone inside. Then he left. Investigators say a couple hours later he came back and threatened a woman with a knife, then took off again.
But Burke was on probation, and was wearing a GPS tracking device.
With that, and help from a police dog, officers found him at the apartments on Orchard.
He's now in the Mesa County Jail.
