As the City of Fruita plans for growth, people in Loma are concerned how that growth will affect them.
Some Loma residents are coming forward with concerns over Fruita's community plan dealing with growth in the area. Fruita officials say they are managing growth not promoting it.
The city wants to make it clear that it does not forcefully annex any land, they’re currently just discussing the Community Plan. A Steering Committee meeting to discuss issues of growth is on November 28th at 6:30, at the Fruita Civic Center. Public input is welcome and encouraged.
