People in 75 Fruita homes woke up Tuesday morning without any water.
A problem with a regulator caused a spike in water pressure that caused three lines to break in different areas of the city. Workers shut off water to the 75 homes and closed a couple of intersections while they fixed the lines.
Ute Water crews worked for nearly four hours to fix the problem all the broken water mains are repaired by about 11:00 a.m.
