Bond is reduced for a man accused of using candy to entice children and then sexually assaulting them.
In court Tuesday afternoon Judge Diester lowered Jesse Baker's bond from $150,000 to $50,000.
According to an arrest affidavit, the 65 year old man used candy to get three young Spanish girls into his apartment and then he kissed and touched them. The victims range in age from six to eight. One of the girls also told police that Baker said he would kill her and her parents if she told anyone what he had done.
In court one of the victim's mother pleaded with the judge not to lower the bond, but Judge Diester did because it had originally been set 20 times too high for a class four felony. Diester added that his bond is still six times higher than normal.
