A Grand Junction man wanted out of Denver is behind bars after stabbing a man with a kitchen knife.
The stabbing happened just before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night in the 2300 Block of B 1/2 Road in Orchard Mesa.
Police say 27–year–old Margarito Morin harassed a victim at the apartment complex there and then stabbed another man.
The victim, whose name is not being released, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital with a stab wound to the torso area.
Morlin is being held at the Mesa County Jail on a $2500 bond out of Denver for failing to appear in court.
For the stabbing he could face charges of second degree assault and felony menacing.
