A Clifton man tried to foil a robbery by holding the suspected thief at gunpoint. The problem, however, is the suspect lived in the home the neighbor was trying to defend.
It turns out the whole situation was a big misunderstanding.
The neighbor thought someone was breaking into a home, but it turned out to be the homeowner.
Mesa County Sheriff's deputies responded to the house.
Right now we do not know whether the neighbor is facing any charges for pulling a gun.
