An 11year old boy should be ok, after being hit by a car on his way to Grand Mesa Middle School this morning.
State Patrol says he was riding his bike in the crosswalk on F Road when a driver turning left from 31 1/2 bumped into him.
The boy had a helmet on.
He was scratched up, had a sore neck, and went to Saint Mary's Hospital to be checked out, but troopers say he wasn't badly hurt.
The driver said he simply didn't see the boy.
Troopers gave the driver a ticket for failure to yield.
