GE Recalls Combination Ovens

General Electric is recalling nearly 100,000 combination microwave and conventional ovens.

The wall–mounted combination ovens are being recalled because a plastic switch on the microwave door can overheat and start a fire.

The units were sold under the G.E., G.E. Profile and Kenmore brands, between January 2000 and December 2003.

They cost $1,500 to $2,000.

If you have one of the ovens, stop using it, and contact either G.E. or Kenmore.
