A 91 year old Palisade man accused of threatening to rape a nurse will face charges.
In court this Wednesday morning Ralph Ridenour was charged with attempted sexual assault through use of force, attempted sexual contact through use of force and false imprisonment.
Ridenour is accused of trying to sexually assault a nurse at the Palisade Living Center on October 21st. Palisade police say he pulled down the nurse's pants and told her he was going to rape her.
Officials say Ridenour pretends to have Alzheimer's so he can get away with disorderly behavior. A mental examination has been ordered.
He will be back in court in early January.
