Commemorating the Bill of Rights

What would life be like without the Bill of Rights? That was this years theme as they city of Grand Junction held its Fifth Annual Recognition and Commemoration of the Bill of Rights.

The public was invited to join City Council and County Commissioners in honoring the ratification of the Bill of Rights; a very significant day in our country's history.

It's been 216 years since the Bill of Rights was authorized.

Students from Central High sang the Star Spangled Banner at the even alongside ten different guest speakers who read each of the Ten Amendments seen on the Bill of Rights.
