Toys-For-Tots Still In Need Of Toys

Donations for Toys for Tots are drastically down. The organization says it's hoping for a little christmas magic, but as of right now it's not going to make its goal.

On Tuesday, Ttoys for Tots collected about 500 toys from drop off spot Coloramo Credit Union. While the donation will put a lot of smiles on the faces of those in need, they've still only collected about 60 percent of the toys they need.

The Marine Corp Reserves says they will be looking on a national level to get the toys they need for the more than 25–hundred kids that are signed up, but with the give away starting Wednesday, they are in desperate need of more toys now. You can still donate to Toys for Tots at any drop off location throughout the Grand Valley including Coloramo.

Donations will be accepted through December 24th.

Last year the organization helped 5,500 kids and families.
