GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Over 230 of the valleys more talented senior citizens are competing in the 12th Annual Senior games this week.

Tuesday afternoon they competed in a dance competition, with categories in both pair and group dancing. First, second, and third place prizes were given out.

Tuesday’s competition is just one of the many activities this week.
Other activities include pickleball, golf, horseshoes, swimming, and more.

"We all enjoy something, and then so this gives us a chance to compete in whatever we enjoy. And, ahh, we dance at the Senior Center, and, ahh, the Senior Center is a great place to go and meet new seniors,” says Dora Duncan and Dan Hudson, winners of the pairs dance.

Spectators are welcome to watch any of the games. Track and field events will be on Friday at Lincoln Park. Participants range in age from 50 to well over 80.
