Mayor Jim Doody says he doesn't feel like he has enough time to generate support from Republican delegates to place him on the ballot for County Commissioner. Therefore he is hoping to petition his way on.
Mayor Doody needs to gather 27 hundred Republican signatures between March 31st and May 29th to be placed on the ballot.
