Just after 1:30 Saturday afternoon, a white Ford pick-up truck drove through the front entrance of the Montrose Wal-Mart.
According to Montrose Police, a 58-year-old male was driving in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, when he suddenly suffered from an unknown medical problem and drove through the front entrance of the store.
They say he hit a jewelry counter inside the store near the photo department.
Authorities say four people, including the driver, were transported to Montrose Memorial Hospital with various injuries. Two of them are female employees of the store. One was treated for head trauma, and another was treated for back injury.
Authorities say they do not know the extent of the injuries to the driver and another woman taken to the hospital, but that all four are in stable condition.
Officers say five other people who were at Wal-Mart checked themselves into the emergency room at Montrose Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Montrose Police Department says once it finishes investigating the crash it will decide if the driver will be cited for anything.
The Montrose Wal-Mart is currently closed, and there is no word yet on when it will re-open.
