A man is sentenced for his role in an officer involved shooting.
Tuesday, Marcos Mendoza pleaded guilty to trespassing and, in exchange, charges of burglary and menacing were dropped.
Mendoza was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours community service.
Police say back in October Mendoza and 25-year-old Omar Infante Ortiz fired shots in an apartment complex to scare people and then fled.
Police caught up with the pair on North Avenue, and ended up shooting Infante Ortiz after he pointed a gun at them.
Infante Ortiz still faces charges in the case.
