American Airlines is sending mechanics to check out the plane that made an emergency landing in Grand Junction last night.
The Boeing 757 from Newark, New Jersey bound for Los Angeles, California had to make an emergency landing after passenger Marissa Roth said she smelled chemicals on the plane and saw a haze.
A flight from Dallas was sent to pick up the more than 100 passengers and take them to Los Angeles.
The Grand Junction Fire Department, Grand Junction Police Department, and airport officials were on scene.
