Some popular SUVs are under scrutiny because the engines may catch fire.

The government is investigating reports of engine fires in General Motors' full size SUVs. This includes the 2007 Chevy Tahoe and the 2007 G.M.C Yukon. An estimated 423,000 SUVs could be affected.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it's received two reports of fires involving 2007 model Chevy Tahoes. Both reports allege the vehicles were parked in a home garage with the engine off when the fires erupted causing significant property damage. Two injuries were reported in the fires.

A spokesman for GM says the company is cooperating with the government.
