A Colorado popcorn company is voluntarily recalling more than 1,600 bags of ready-to-eat low fat caramel popcorn.
Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company is recalling green nine ounce bags with the UPC number 1044932050 and with a manufacturing code less than D1231XX.
According to the FDA, a trace amount of Tree Nuts was found in the popcorn.
Tree nuts can cause a reaction in anyone allergic to such nuts. The FDA says distribution of the popcorn was limited, mostly in the Denver area. No reports of allergic reactions have been made at this time.
