Wheaton, ill. (AP) A man has been found guilty of killing four of his family members in suburban Chicago.
A Dupage county prosecutor's office spokesman says the jury deliberated for three hours Wednesday before finding Eric Hanson guilty on all counts.
The jury is expected to return Thursday to begin hearing testimony in the death penalty eligibility phase of the trial.
Pprosecutors say the 31-year-old man killed his parents, his sister and her husband to hide the fact he stole more than $80,000 through forged checks and credit cards. The bodies were discovered in September 2005.
