Federal Officials say they plan to compare notes with Grand Junction Arson Investigators to see if a suspicious fire at a Catholic outreach housing project may be related to two other fires at the groups day center a couple of years ago.

Those two cases from 2006 remain unsolved.

Officials say someone set fire to the Catholic Outreach Day Center twice that year.

Chrissie Carlson with Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms says agents are still investigating the fires.

Carlson says the local ATF agent will be contacting the Grand Junction Fire Department to see if yesterday's fire at the housing project is similar to those fires and if there's a link.

Anyone with any information on any of the fires is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP.
