County officials get some good news in their fight against the state's mill-levy freeze.
Mesa County Commissioner Janet Rowland tells 11 News a judge ruled they can sue The Department of Education in their lawsuit.
Rowland says the state's mill-levy freeze legislation directly conflicts with the constitution mainly the Tax Payers Bill of Rights.
A Denver District Court will now hear the county's case the week of May 5.
