Some local apartments were officially condemned by the county today, after a fire and other things left the building uninhabitable.
During an inspection a few weeks ago at 109 Anna Court, inspectors found torn roof coverings which was causing bad leaks. Also found was loose drywall on ceilings and walls, and drywall that was falling down. Residents have until March 7th to vacate the building.
The Grand Junction Housing Authority says it will work with the residents to help them find a place to live, but they must meet all eligibility requirements.
