Colorado springs, Colo. (AP) A Colorado Springs High school teacher is hospitalized after being run over by a hit-and-run driver.

Police Sergeant Jim Sokolik says Palmer High School Choir Director Bob Crowder was crossing a street on his way to a choir concert when a car moving at a “high rate of speed” struck him and fled the scene.

The concert was called off.
