A controlled burn that gets out of control Sunday, serves as a reminder to all of us that burn season can get a little tricky.
Fire Officials want to remind us it's important to remember to stay at least 50 feet away from structures or fences, have a hose available, and only burn things that are less than an inch in diameter.
Officials say that it's easy for fires to get out of hand because the weather can change in an instant. Also burning grass clippings and piles of leaves is prohibited. No one was injured in today's fire.
