Phoenix (AP) John McCain will be on the road all week. The likely republican presidential nominee isn't stumping for votes, he's looking for cash.
Sstarting today in St. Louis, McCain has a series of fundraising events mapped out as he tries to replenish his campaign account. Tomorrow, the Arizona senator heads to New York, then Boston on Wednesday. There are other unannounced cities in the offing through Friday.
McCain faces a tall order. Both Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton have easily outdistanced McCain in campaign donations -- Obama raising 55 million dollars in February, while Clinton collected 35 million.
By the end of January, McCain had raised 55 million dollars -- but his campaign had just over five million in cash on hand.
