A teen who tried to steal more than 30 guns from a local sporting goods store is sentenced to two years probation.
Evan Phillips pleaded guilty to trying to burglarize the store in exchange for being charged as a juvenile.
Along with two years probation, Phillips will have to do 100 hours of community service, attend school, hold a steady job, and participate in sports. He's also not allowed to talk to Broc Riddle.
Back in November, Phillips and Riddle tried to steal the guns from Gene Taylor's Sporting Goods, but tripped the alarm and were arrested after a four and a half hour standoff.
Riddle was sentenced on Monday to a four year deferred sentence. If he doesn't get in trouble over the next four years his record will be wiped clean.
