A man serving a 222 year prison sentence for crimes in Mesa County could learn today how much more time will be added for crimes in Garfield County.
A Glenwood Springs jury convicted 26–year–old Samuel Lincoln yesterday on multiple charges, including second degree attempted murder, first degree assault, first degree burglary, and aggravated robbery.
Lincoln was accused of nearly stabbing a man to death with a bayonet, and robbing him and his family.
A judge in Mesa County sentenced him in January to 144 years in prison for shooting at sheriff's deputies, and 78 years for trying to kill a man in a desert that same year.
