Santa Maria, Calif (AP) A suspect is in custody in connection with Tuesday's shooting deaths of four men at a California junk yard.
Police in Santa Barbara county are calling it “a case of workplace violence.”
They say all four men were shot at close range and were dead by the time paramedics arrived.
One victim was found outside the junk yard, the others were found inside.
Police have recovered the weapon used in the shooting and the suspect has been detained for questioning. His name won't be released until he's arrested and booked.
Santa Maria police and the California highway patrol have searched the area for more suspects, but the Santa Maria police chief says they believe a single suspect “entered the premises and fired the shots.”
