A man who was intoxicated while riding around on his bike will wake up in jail this morning.
Around 4 pm Wednesday a grand junction police officer found Scott Lubie drunk on his bicycle on Pitkin Ave.
Lubie tried to get away from the officer on his bike, but the officer was able to persue him on foot.
The officer says Lubie resisted arrest and tried to bite him.
A small amount of marijuana was found on him and he was taken into custody. Lubie was charged with a DUI, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. He was transported to Colorado West for detoxification.
