International Space Staion (AP) Space Shuttle Commander Dominic Gorie says Endeavour's current mission has a lot in common with the NCAA basketball tournament.

So far his crew has muscled through a daunting to-do list, including a record five spacewalks to build a giant robot and install the first segment of a japanese lab. But Gorie says the championship will be a safe landing at Kennedy Space Center. He says, “we've won the first five games” but “we've got a couple more to go for undocking and landing.”

Endeavour's crew will close the hatches between their ship and the international space station this afternoon as they prepare for undocking tonight. The shuttle is to land in Florida Wednesday night.

French Astronaut Leopold Eyharts will return to earth after about a month-and-a-half on the space station. Astronaut Garrett Reisman is replacing him.
