Adult charges were dropped today in the case of a teen accused of saying he had a bomb on a school bus.
A judge reduced charges against 16 year old Brett Burke to juvenile charges. Also two other felony counts for endangering public transportation were dismissed completely after the judge ruled there was no probable cause for the charges to stay.
A request by Burke's defense to lower his $75,000 bond was denied citing public safety concerns. When police investigated Burke's house, officers say they found bomb making materials and bomb diagrams in his room.
He will be back in juvenile court later this week.
