Officials say a man accused of shooting another man will have to enter a plea next month.
52–year–old Charles Ettinger appeared in court this morning, where he was granted a hearing extension after his attorney told the judge they had made a new discovery in the case and needed more time to investigate.
Ettinger was arrested last month after authorities say he shot 26–year–old Steven Dodd in the stomach while having an argument over property rights. Ettinger told authorities the shooting was accidental. He is facing charges of first degree assault.
