Three Juveniles Arrested After Allegedly Trying to Rob Pedestrian

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office three juveniles were arrested Wednesday morning after trying to rob someone.

Deputies say the three were on the run after trying to rob someone walking down E 1/2 Road. Officials say the victim was uninjured and called 911. Deputies brought in a dog and bike team to search for the suspects and put out a reverse 911 call to residents and businesses in the area. The three were caught just before noon.

Grand Mesa Middle School and Central High were under a "shelter in place" order for nearly an hour while authorities searched for the suspects.
