It took rescuers more than two hours to reach a woman that fell off a cliff in the Colorado National Monument.
Officials say the victim is a 22-year-old Grand Junction resident.
They say she was hiking with a friend when she fell close to 40 feet near the Falling Rock Overlook about nine miles inside the east entrance.
Steep terrain made it difficult for crews to reach her. Care Flight was took her to the hospital.
At this time it appears her injuries are not life threatening.
