Fundraiser for Slain Woman a Success, Arby's to Keep Accepting Donations

A fundraiser for the family of a pregnant woman who was gunned down has raised more than $2,000.

Arby's Managers tell 11 News that customers were still donating as of Wednesday so they will continue to accept donations for the Macias family.

Anna Marie Macias was eight and a half months pregnant when she was shot and killed last month outside of her home. Macias died at the hospital. Her baby was delivered through emergency C-section but died two days later. The coroner ruled both deaths as homicides and Macias's boyfriend Lonnie Herrera has been charged with their deaths.

Macias and her baby were laid to rest on Saturday. The family is trying to purchase headstones for them.
