A tanker truck rolled onto its side near De Beque spilling liquid into a nearby ditch.
it happened around two o'clock Friday afternoon off of W Road near Bass Lake. An official with Encana tells 11 News the tanker was transporting frack water when it rolled.
Frank Lopez with Encana says, "Mainly it's just a salty water. We pulled some samples of where it spilled taken some readings with LEL monitors, there is no gas or oil in it that we are getting right now."
Grand Junction's Hazmat Team and the De Beque Fire Department responded to the accident. Encana says Walsh Environmental will take more samples and clean the spill.
