Sao Paolo, brazil (AP) A cluster of brightly colored party balloons has been found floating in the ocean off Brazil's coast. But rescuers say there's still no sign of the Roman Catholic Priest who had been using them to try to set a flight record.
The cluster of yellow, orange, pink and white balloons was spotted last night, floating intact, near the priest's last contact point on Sunday.
One fire commander says there's a good chance that the priest is still alive, since he was wearing a helmet, aluminum thermal flight suit, waterproof coveralls and a parachute.
An experienced sky diver, the priest also had a GPS device and satellite phone with him.
He had lifted off on Sunday strapped to hundreds of helium-filled balloons.
