Volunteers Make Blankets to Help Kids Cope with Loss

Loosing a loved one is never easy, especially when you're a child. But knowing someone cares can help with the coping process.

Every child that attends Hospice's Camp Good Grief learns to deal with the death of a loved one. They also receive a blanket made by a special volunteer.

Organizers of the camp say the blankets really help kids with the healing process. On Saturday they displayed the 216 blankets made for this years camp participants outside Hi Fashion Fabric to thank the community for their support.

Camp Good Grief will be held August 1-3. To register a child call 245-5377.
