The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC), is reaching out those involved in the industry hoping they will help shape future rules and regulations.
The commission sent out invitations and is passing out fliers to companies and vendors asking them to send employees to the upcoming pre–meeting June 10 at Two Rivers Convention Center.
The commission says this is the only opportunity for those who rely on the industry to show their support for the economy and jobs.
The rule making hearing could determine the future level of activity in the Piance Basin.
The new rules could be adopted August 12.
