Four missing boaters were found Monday morning around 6:30 a.m.
Clifton search and rescue crews were dispatched about an hour beforehand to try to find the boaters who officials say didn't show up at their parked car Sunday around 3:00 p.m. where they were expected.
Clifton fire crews searched Corn Lake to Grand Avenue but hadn't spotted anyone. That's when Mesa County Sheriff's officers started looking from Grand Avenue to Loma. Officials say all four missing boaters were found at the Fruita Alberta State Park, were being treated on scene by emergency crews and transported to a hospital for possible hypothermia.
We'll bring you more information about the conditions of the boaters, as it comes into our newsroom.
