11 news has learned that a plea agreement has been reached in the Lonnie Herrera case.
Herrera is the man who is accused of shooting his girlfriend, 23 year old Anna Marie Macias in March. The shooting was witnessed by at least one of her children. Macias was 8 ½ months pregnant. Emergency crews delivered her baby girl, Maria Elana, through emergency c-section but the baby died two days later. The coroner ruled both deaths homicides.
According to court documents, Hererra was on parole when he was arrested for beating her just two weeks before the shooting.
He was able to bond out because there was never a parole hold placed on him.
Herrera will be back in court June 11th.
