DENVER (AP) Authorities say two people were killed and another was injured in two homes in the Black Forest area northeast of Colorado Springs.

Sgt. Joe Roybal with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office tells The Denver Post that authorities were called after neighbors heard shots fired at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The sergeant says "we are processing two different crime scenes, but we don't know if the two incidents are related or not."

The names of the slain victims haven't been released. The third victim was shot and taken to a hospital.

Authorities are looking for a red 2002 Honda Odyssey with license 048GJB that was seen leaving the scene. The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s who was dressed in black and may have been carrying a black duffel bag.
