Mesa County Seeking Teen Leaders For Special Commission
8th through 12th graders who want their opinions and concerns heard in Mesa County better act quickly. The application deadline for the Teen Leadership Commission is Monday. The Mesa County Teen Leadership Commission or TLC is a new group the board of county commissioners is creating. TLC will advise the commissioners on issues that affect the county and young people in particular. The commission is slated to have 12 to 15 members willing to dedicate 5 hours per month to serving on the commission. For more information contact Mesa County's Public Relations Director Jessica Peterson at 244–1640. Applications are due Monday, November 28 at the old mesa county courthouse by 5 p.m.
