Salazar Brothers Sworn In As New Colorado U.S. Lawmakers

Two brothers from Colorado are now officially part of the freshman class of the United States Congress. US Representative John Salazar, (D) Manasas, and Senator Ken Salazar, (D)Manasas, were sworn in Tuesday, along with the other new members of Congress.

The brothers flew dozens of family members to the nation's capital for the occasion. The two plan to live together in Washington DC. Represenatative Salazar says he's exited to get started. Also Tuesday, Illinois Congressman Dennis Hastert was re-elected Speaker of the House. Hastert won with 226 votes.
